Business Rationale:
- Generalist role with a focus on equities and structured products.
- This newly created function is based in Geneva and services AMP at the group level.
- Member of the Investment committee.
Job description:
- Investment Advisor:
- Spokesperson of the AMP investment strategy, products, and services.
- Identification of investment opportunities and writing investment ideas for Advisory clients.
- Advising clients on their investment portfolio allocation and setting investment strategy cross-asset.
- Portfolio reviews and investment ideation in line with client’s risk profile and investment objectives.
- Managing Discretionary Portfolio up and when required.
- Equity analyst:
- In charge of the equity asset class and establishing model portfolio and equity universe for long only portfolio and Recurring Income.
- Asset class coverage for the Investment Committee (SAA/TAA)
- Establishing views on (i) countries, (ii) sectors, (iii) stock picking (SP500 and STOXX600)
- Writing monthly/quarterly markets reviews and outlook on the asset and, if required, on other asset classes.
- Leverage the equity research of AMP’s custodians and providers.
- Structured Product:
- In charge of the structured product offering, which is primarily equity led.
- Conduct the entire product lifecycle management (from offering, source pricing, execution, settlement, restructurationetc… )
- Technically abreast to find the optimal structure within the context of a Recurring Portfolio.
- Strong focus on pricing, follow up and risk management.
- Take part in the industrialization process of the offering.
- Responsible for writing marketing material related to the offering.
- Leverage the structured products teams of AMP’s brokers and custodians.
- In charge of defining and keeping up to date the related procedures.
Required profile:
- At least 5+ years of experience in a similar positionwithin a highly regarded institution (asset management, investment banking, external asset manager, broker).
- University degree or equivalent in Finance orMathematics.Professional degree (CFA, CIIA) is a plus.
- Good understanding of financials markets and cross assets.
- Financial English written and spoken, French spoken and written.
- MS Office, Bloomberg or Refinitiv, VBA a plus.
- Able to travel.
