What's important to us:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or management; a master's degree in marketing, supply chain management, automotive engineering, or manufacturing is preferred
- Excellent written and spoken English (C1 level)
- 7-10 years of experience in category management, preferably within the aftermarket auto parts business
- Experience withprocurement from China is preferable
- Exceptional competence in procurement, pricing, and product (data) management
- Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities, with strong proficiency in data analysis and strategic thinking
- Social and intercultural competence as well as strong communication skills
- Resilient, assertive, and proficient in conflict resolution
- Willingness to travel globally
What to do:
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential supply chain disruptions, geopolitical risks, and quality issues related to car parts manufacturing, and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks and ensure continuity of supply and product quality
- Formulate and execute strategic plans for the exclusive brand's car parts category, aligning with overall business objectives and market trends
- Curate and manage the range of car parts offered under the exclusive brand, including new product development, SKU rationalization, and lifecycle management
- Set pricing strategies and promotional activities for car parts to optimize revenue and market share while maintaining profitability
- Identify, select, and manage suppliers for car parts manufacturing, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics for the car parts category, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions to drive growth and profitability
