ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Mission: Our client is seeking a talented Sales Manager to build up and drive the activities of their Asset Management’s Investment Products (e.g. European Equities and Private Debt strategies/solutions) across the institutional client landscape in the German-speaking part of Switzerland and Liechtenstein. The Sales Manager will report directly to the Head of European Sales.
The key responsibilities will include:
- Develop, build, and maintain a robust and sustainable business pipeline and manage the entire sales cycle for Investment Products across the German-speaking part of Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
- Drive growth by developing new client assets and expanding existing ones through a targeted, driven, and solution-based sales process, focusing on institutional clients (e.g., Pension Funds, Insurance) and single-family offices.
- Advise clients on investment solutions across the asset classes and strategies offered.
- Foster internal relationships and collaboration, working closely with other teams and departments (e.g., Fund Management, Marketing, Legal & Compliance, Operations) to achieve the best client and firm outcomes.
- Spearhead efforts from Zurich to educate clients on the firm’s investment product offering, articulating solutions and capabilities to internal and external stakeholders.
HARD SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Relevant work experience in business development / sales in Asset Management with exposure to the Swiss institutional client landscape (German-speaking part). An additional network with (Single) Family Offices is considered a strong plus.
- Strong appetite to work in an established yet entrepreneurial environment, self-motivated with a hands-on, business developer attitude.
- Deep understanding of investment products (ideally of European Equities, Private Debt strategies, etc.)
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with demonstrated capabilities to strategically manage and influence senior stakeholders at all levels.
- Forward-looking, holistic, and collaborative working approach: Ability to work with key stakeholders and achieve common visions and goals.
