Fund Distribution/Registration Specialist - Investment Structuring Liquid Markets 80-100%
Job Description
As a specialist in the field of a cross-border fund distribution and passporting you will join the Investment Structuring Liquid Markets team. In this role, you will closely collaborate with our team members and contribute to an efficient lifecycle management of our traditional and liquid alternative investment programs. These mainly include investment funds located in Ireland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and the Cayman Islands.
Your primary tasks and responsibilities will encompass the following:
Registering investment funds for public distribution within the EU, Europe, and globally including independently drafting and submitting notifications to financial supervisory authorities;
Assessing regulatory and legal requirements related to cross-border distribution/passporting topics and ensuring compliance with these requirements when applying for, maintaining, and withdrawing the fund distribution license;
Preparing and updating country-specific versions of the legal fund documentation, including prospectuses, PRIIPs-KIDs, investor information, financial reports, as well as managing the related legal and regulatory publication and reporting duties on both an ad-hoc and ongoing basis;
Acting as Swiss representative for foreign investment funds, including filings to the Swiss supervisory authority FINMA;
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across various jurisdictions;
Additionally, you will engage in corporate housekeeping and other administrative tasks tied to our investment funds and related entities, including:
Responding to daily inquiries regarding our investment fund offerings from internal and external stakeholders (e.g. KYC/DD inquiries);
Maintaining entity-related information in our master data management system;
Handling bank account openings for our investment funds and the associated documentation;
Assisting with all aspects of contract management.
Supporting tax and investment reporting;
Participating in various projects contributing to the overall operating efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
Commercial degree, ideally complemented by a further training/certification as a paralegal or equivalent training in law, or a Bachelor in Law;
Minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience in a similar role within the financial industry, or proven work experience in a legal environment related to the financial sector;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German;
Strong organizational skills, a high sense of initiative, motivation and ability to work independently;
A proactive, dynamic and results-oriented personality who excels in a team environment.
Home Office: after the successful probation period you will meet your colleagues three days in the office and have the option to work two days a week in the home office in Switzerland. Additionally you get a Home Office allowance;
