Project Manager Industrial Cybersecurity
General Information:
As an Industrial Cybersecurity Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing cybersecurity projects tailored to Hitachi Energy’s industrial environments. You will be responsible for leading project teams, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of cybersecurity initiatives. Your expertise in both cybersecurity and project management will be essential in delivering comprehensive solutions that mitigate risks and safeguard industrial operations.
Your Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with stakeholders to understand their cybersecurity needs, establish project requirements, and provide regular updates on project progress and deliverables.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocations to effectively manage project scope, budget, and resource requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations professionals to design and implement tailored cybersecurity solutions for industrial environments.
- Oversee the deployment and integration of cybersecurity technologies and process improvements.
- Identify and address project risks and issues proactively, implementing corrective actions as necessary to ensure project success.

Your Background:
- Bachelor's Degree, with relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CISM, CISSP, GICSP)
- Minimum 15 years professional work experience
- Minimum 10 years experience in cybersecurity, of which five years in Industrial Cybersecurity
- Excellent communication skills in English, as well as leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and lead project teams to success.
- Proven experience in project management, specifically managing cybersecurity projects in industrial or critical infrastructure sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA systems, and associated cybersecurity challenges and solutions.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, standards, and best practices, including NIST Cybersecurity Framework and ISA/IEC 62443.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
- Flexibility to work occasionally in different time-zones.
- Experience working in a global multinational company or work environment.
- Motivation, resilience and aptitude to excel in complex environments, delivering multi-layered solutions.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
