Accountant (80-100%)
Rosetrust AG is a Zug based boutique international trust company. Working closesly with its affiliate, the English law firm Howard Rosen Solicitors in Zug, it sets up and manages trusts and Swiss and foreign companies for its international clientele. We are looking for an
as part of a small and dynamic team, to provide bookkeeping, accountancy and administrativesupport which includes:
- managing the accounts for the company, its affiliated law firm and the company’s clients (on a national and international level) which includes:
- preparing management accounts and annual financial statements for companies, associations and trusts, including balance sheets, profit and loss and cash flow statements, appendices and notes to the annual financial statements as required, group consolidation, budgets and interim statements as applicable
- filing VAT returns in and outside of Switzerland as well as managing payments and refunds
- creating and evaluating investment portfolio statements
- managing accounts receivable and accounts payable
- liaising with auditors, preparing for and attending audits
- administering bank accounts, payments and financings
- completing and filing of tax returns (under the supervision of a tax adviser where appropriate) and reviewing tax returns prepared by third parties, checking tax assessments and invoices
- dealing with payroll and related filings and reportings
- providing accounting, compliance and analytical support for trust officers as required
- liaising and attending meetings (generally at the company’s offices) with auditors, tax advisers, banks, investment managers, service providers in and clients from various countries
- participating in internal meetings including internal reporting
- dealing with general related organisational and administrative work
- backing up and supporting other members of the accounting team where required
Your qualifications:
- Swiss qualified accountant (preferably with Fachausweis Treuhänder or equivalent practical experience)
- several years’ experience working for an international fiduciary company with global contacts
- excellent written and spoken English and German; other languages would be an advantage but not required
- expertise in the area of managing Swiss and foreign companies (incorporation, general management and liquidation)
- good working knowledge of Swiss and international VAT as well as other Swiss tax matters for companies and individuals
- experience with payroll administration
- familiar with anti-money laundering compliance
- excellent PC skills (Word, Excel, Infoniqa)
- general administration skills
