The Life Science Clinical Sales Specialist will work closely with the Key Account Manager in the assigned territory to drive sales growth through clinical application expertise and support focusing on improvement on diagnostic practice and increased prescribing of BD diagnostic tests. This role involves providing applications support, conducting training sessions, and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals to drive reagent/assay adoption and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and sell specific life science products to healthcare professionals and institutions.
Provide clinical applications training and support to customers, ensuring they are proficient using the products and drive preference for BD assays and testings within the assigned accounts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and partners.
Create local key accounts clinical applications program – building and maintaining a funnel of opportunities.
Organize and conduct in-service trainings, product demonstrations and presentations to the assigned customers, as well as product knowledge trainings to distributor’s/sub distributors’ sales forces.
Track and analyze sales performance metrics as well as practice improvement metrics to ensure goals are met and identify areas for improvement.
Provide feedback to the country marketing team and validates marketing activities for its relevance and impact.
Keeping abreast of product and practice updates by liaising with local clinical and marketing lead functions.
Attend exhibitions, organize user groups, and conduct seminars to provide clinical applications support as needed.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience and knowledge of the Clinical and Life Science markets coupled with strong business acumen.
Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, Biology, Chemistry, Nursing, or a related field.
Minimum two- three years of experience work in a healthcare setting as a med tech
Preferable 1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the life sciences or medical devices industry.
Strong technical knowledge of life science products and clinical applications.

Excellent command of English is a must.

Strong presentation skills, able to translate data and information into meaningful business insights
Independent, strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills

Experience with BD products or Healthcare product is preferred.
Pleasant personality and customer oriented and good negotiation skill.
