To drive our continuous organic growth, we are constantly looking for highly qualified professionals. To strengthen our IT Organization and ensure the delivery of our IT Services we are looking for an experienced IT System Architect (f/m/d), 100%. Bachem is growing and starting a green-field site where we need to support the CAPEX project team with technology expertise for IT and OT from the beginning.

The IT Systems Architect is responsible for planning, design and documentation of Bachem's IT Architecture (IT-Applications, IT-Technologies, Software, Data and Interfaces).

Your tasks:

• Development, establishment and maintenance of the IT architecture framework, principles and methodology taking into account business objectives, profitability and technological trends
• Development and enforcement of quality standards for IT architectures and communication into the business functions
• Ensure data quality of CMDB (Configuration Management Database) for all objects managed by IT applications
• Gathering requirements and understanding the company's needs and expectations with regards to IT systems landscape
• Providing proposals as a base for decisions based on the recorded requirements
• Consulting IT projects regarding ICT architecture and interface design
• Technology evaluation and selection of adequate IT application and integration technologies
• Participation in governance bodies such as the IT extended business technology team and selected change advisory boards

Your profile:

• Master degree in (Business) Information Technology or similar education in any technical discipline. Advanced Training/Education in IT Architecture / Enterprise Architecture Management (e.g. TOGAF)
• Extensive System Architecture experience in an international company, preferably in pharma industries
• Knowledge in manufacturing, operations or supply chain are desired
• Establishment of system architecture for green-field sites or M&A
• Strong understanding of modern IT and OT system landscape
• Familiarity with ServiceNow platform and its use in enterprise architecture
• Leadership skills to push projects to completion, using conflict resolution, facilitation, scenario-based analysis, risk management, exceptional communication and project methodology
• Detail planning capabilities, analytical thinking and strong ability to break large problems into small elements
• English and German language skills: C1 (Advanced / Higher Business) or higher
