- Shape the digital future: As a network engineer, you play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless and secure data communication. Your work connects people, systems, and devices, enabling innovation and digital transformation.
- Network operations and maintenance: Operate and maintain state-of-the-art SD networks across the data center and access areas, manage several next-generation firewall clusters, and oversee the MPLS network. Your efforts ensure the reliability and security of critical infrastructure.
- 2nd level support and consulting: Act as an expert in 2nd level support, troubleshooting complex network issues, and providing expert consultation on network security challenges and solutions.
- Zero-trust architecture: Play a key role in supporting service zoning, implementing necessary firewall activations, and maintaining a cutting-edge zero-trust architecture to enhance security protocols.
- Solution development and project involvement: Contribute to the development of innovative network solutions and participate in conceptual tasks within dynamic and impactful projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize network solutions.
- Educational background: Hold a degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification, complemented by a Cisco CCNP certification.
- Proven expertise: Demonstrate several years of hands-on experience in networking domains such as firewalls, VPNs, identity services, 802.1X/MAB protocols, DNS/DHCP management, IP/MPLS networks, and LAN/WLAN environments.
- Commitment to growth: Show enthusiasm for professional development and a keen interest in staying updated with the latest technical innovations, particularly in the field of network security.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills: Possess strong organizational abilities, flexibility, and the capacity to manage tasks effectively, even in dynamic situations.
- Mobility and availability: Hold a valid category B driving license, enabling you to travel as needed. Be willing to participate in on-call rotations, ensuring network reliability and availability outside standard working hours.
- Language Skills: Fluent German and decent English round out your language skills
