Your tasks
– Working supervisor of customer service/quality control laboratory
– Ensures quality being met by suppliers and production department
– Ensures customer samples and QC is tested efficiently, accurately and on time
–To provide technical support to end users, distributors, and Blaser Sales/Service team
–Supports and/or lead assigned Customer Service Projects
–Recruit, interview, hire and supervise lab technicians
–Ensure latest lab procedures being followed per defined BMS processes
–Provide annual Appraisal Interviews for Lab Technicians
–Research/purchase laboratory equipment and supplies for USA and Mexico laboratories
–Provide support to the Mexico lab
Indicators for the appraisal of achievements:
–Projects assigned completed according to schedule
–Accuracy of work
–Volume of work
–Effectiveness of supervisory role
Your profile
– B.S. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience
– 5+ yr laboratory work experience
– Supervisory experience or training
– Willing to travel for occasional special assignments and/or training
–Computer literate with typing ability, MS Office, CRM software (Microsoft Dynamics or other)
–Ability to effectively communicate with customers and employees both locally and internationally
–Structure oriented – works according to process
–Self-organized & self-motivated
