Postdoc position in advanced lung disease research 60-100%
You will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Blood and plasma sample preparation for metabolomics analyses
- Tissue sample preparation for RNA sequencing
- Establishment of primary cell culture enriched with endothelial cells derived from patient material
- Characterize the primary cell culture by FACS, western blot, immunoflurescent and immunohistochemical stainings, ELISA
- Establish and perform assays for functional assessment of in vitro cell culture eg. growth assay, migration assay

Specific qualifications include:
- Experience in cell culture and standard molecular biology techniques (extraction of nucleic acids, qPCR, Western Blotting, ELISA, FACS, etc)
- Previous work with endothelial cell culture is highly desired
- Experience with bioinformatics analysis of omics data and biostatistics is a plus
- Ability to work independently
- Strong motivation to learn and establish new protocols and methods
- Excellent English communication skills including writing of scientific manuscripts, reports, abstracts and scientific presentations are mandatory. Knowledge of German is a plus, yet not mandatory
- A high degree of flexibility and dedication to the project will be mandatory
