Your main responsibilities…
- Financial Statements: Control monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Variance Analysis: Compare actual results with forecasts and budgets.
- Accounting Process: Supervision including payables, receivables, payroll and cash flows.
- VAT Reporting: Reviewing and submitting VAT declarations.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Support budgeting, sales reporting and order planning with management team.
- Asset Management: Depreciation & compliance with tax laws.
- Strategic Planning: Support planning, provide financial risk analysis, and modelling for strategic sales or investment initiatives.
- KPI Development: Develop key performance indicators to measure financial and operational performance.
- Process Improvement: Streamline financial processes for better efficiency.
- Oversight: Help the finance team to ensure compliance and effective business monitoring.
- Hands-On Support: Jump in wherever needed to support the team.
- Growth Mindset: Eager to grow with the company.
What We’re Looking For:
- People Skills: Great team player with excellent interpersonal skills who contributes to our positive working environment.
- Finance Experience: Proven experience as a financial controller, with a degree in accounting and finance.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to perform financial and day to day business analysis and reporting.
- Business Acumen: Good understanding of business and willingness to grow with the business
- Language Skills: English Fluent. German at a business level (C1).
- Hands-On Approach: Ready to get involved in all aspects of the job. Cross-functional Collaboration.
- SME (KMU) Experience: Ideally experience in small to medium-sized businesses.
- International Business Experience: Ideally knowledge of export, VAT, and customs duties topics.
