Roles and Responsibilities:
Work directly with Project managers, purchasing, and end customer for accurate delivery planning
Perform organizing, shipping and delivering goods globally in smooth, timely and cost-effective manner
Generate and execute Project Logistics Shippping Plans to ensure customer satisfaction and adequate execution of transport of goods.
Prepare all required shipping documents for international and domesticshipments.
Coordinate transportation arrangements using Alpega Transportation Management System (TMS)
Coordinate with shipping forwarders to obtain and update the shipment information.
Work directly with Compliance to ensure safety, security, regulatory, and company policies.
Work directly with project managers to manage the financial project logistics results of the budget vs. actual cost of projects in pipeline.
Perform all Accounts Payable functions for logistics payment processs including coding, posting, and approving freight invoices for payment via Microsoft Dynamics AX6,
Reconciling freight vendors account, communicating with freight vendors on payment status or invoice issues, investigate and resolve all freight payment/billing issues.
Perform other tasks within International Deployment and Logistics team, as and when needed.
