Process Engineer (m/w/d)* Sterile Machine Engineering (Glass/Polymer)

Become our Process Engineer* within our R&D and Global Engineering division at SCHOTT Pharma.
In this role, you will be responsible for sub-projects or work packages to introduce complex production technology for pharmaceutical primary packaging systems (e.g. ready to use syringes, cartridges, vials) in a sterile cleanroom environment.
This position will be located at our site in St. Gallen, starting immediately.
You are enthusiastic about technically complex production systems
You execute complex engineering and production expansion projects from specification through design review, commissioning and delivery to our production plants worldwide
You are interested in pharmaceutical/process engineering (e.g. washing, coating, assembly, packaging or injection moulding systems)
You carry out machine acceptance tests (FAT/SAT) and qualification with our machine suppliers; you create and/or review the related technical documentation
You support the industrialization of product developments, where you derive concepts for new production systems from product- and customer specification
Travelling to global production sites and suppliers will be project-specific and can be up to 30%
University degree in Engineering, Life Science or technical apprenticeship including advanced training (e.g. pharmaceutical engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, materials engineering etc.)
2+ years of working experience in engineering/process development/ commissioning of production systems; young professionals are welcome
You are open for hands-on patricipation in practical activities (e.g. test runs with production lines, machine comissioning)
Experience in pharmaceutical/GMP environment and knowledge of equipment qualification are a plus
Knowledge of methods for process optimizations and Six Sigma certification are a plus
Good interpersonal and communication skills in German and English
Structured working style and ability to plan and prioritize technical activities
