Creative Art Director - Luxury Goods
For our
client, a prestigious high jewellery brand based in Geneva, we are currently seeking
to recruit an artistic and passionate Creative Art Director (communication
design) to join their team.
With a
commitment to excellence and a passion for craftsmanship, they are aiming to
positioning themselves as a leading Swiss high jewellery brand, known for its fascinating
designs and exceptional quality.
POSITION
While the
ideal candidate will have an innovative mindset and an existing portfolio of
work with luxury brands, this role is likewise for a storyteller who can bring
the brand's experiential narrative to life through visual artwork and
captivating content creation (encompassing some Copy writing).
Key Responsibilities:
- Creative
direction: Lead the conceptualization and execution of all visual aspects of the
brand communication. - Ensure
consistency in the Maison's visual codes across all platforms. - Visual
artwork: Develop and oversee the production of high-quality artwork, including
print, VM/window display and digital media, that aligns with the brand's luxury
DNA. - Content
creation: Create impactful content for dynamic channels, including social
media, websites, advertising campaigns, and publicity material. - Storytelling:
Craft engaging brand moments that resonate with our clientele and enhance the Maison's
narrative through visual and written content. - Team
collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and retail
teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and effective communication
strategies. - Conceptual
development: Devise and present a collection of concepts that showcase creative
work leading to forthcoming successes. - Trend
analysis: Update teams with industry leading trends, design innovations, and
progressive design thinking, positioning the Maison at the lead of
communication excellence. - Project
management: Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring delivery and
adherence to budget constraints.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education:
Degree in Graphic Design, Arts, or Communication. - Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Creative Art Director, preferably
within the luxury sector. - Design
skills: All necessary design software and design tools. - Portfolio:
A strong portfolio showcasing previous experience with past luxury brands,
highlighting your creative artwork and communication design. - Dynamic
Personality: Energetic, innovative, and inspiring. - Passion:
Deep passion for luxury brands and an eye for detail. - Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication in FR/ENG, ability to articulate
design concepts clearly and persuasively.
