We're seeking someone who contributes to improve customer experience by ensuring safe and comfortable environment in the Meeting Place.
You possess customer-focus mindset and have knowledge in commercial properties operations, or perhaps you've done something similar? Either way, this is a new meeting place for us, and we want someone who's up for the opportunity!
You'll be responsible to optimise the meeting place experience for the many people, to drive visitation to the Meeting Places and IKEA and deliver sustainable business growth for our Partners and Meeting Places. Achieve operational results, drive efficiency improvements and enhance commercial performance, brand value and Sustainability performance of the Meeting Places
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY:
As a Core Operations Leader at Ingka Centres, your role is to work with your team to make Churchill Square, Brighton an inspirational meeting place that goes beyond customer expectations. It's an exciting journey, and you will be at the heart of it!
To make this happen, you’ll cooperate with the Facility Management Service providers to maintain and operate the property on high level with focus on sustainability. Also, you’ll manage partners securing the best commercial and operational support to increase the share of income
Your day to day duties will include:
• Partner with Facility Management team to ensure delivering good Facilities Management service with positive impact on customer experience
• Responsible for updating all requirements for Facilities Management organization on yearly basis
• Be the interface between Meeting Place Management Team and Facilities Management Service for installation of events or any other activities that will require a technical component
• Oversee and facilitate the Tenant coordination liaising with FM service and the partner relationship Manager
• Be the interface between Facilities Management Service and Meeting Place Management team in terms of continuous performance improvement in sustainability area including energy, emissions and water management, waste management, implementation of company and other local sustainability initiatives, in cooperation with Community Engagement.
• In cooperation with the Security & safety Function you will:
• Responsible for Duty Management training, scheduling and implementation
• Build up overall Meeting Place Risk Management on fire safety, security, facility safety, natural hazard prevention, traffic safety, crime prevention, training on safety & security and environmental issues, etc.
• To be responsible for overall day-to-day safety check, audit and accident investigation; interface with insurance company/independent 3rd party on IKEA Blue Survey and Regular reporting to central risk function and support annual Sec Check
• Execute all applicable manuals and regulations including Ingka Centres Risk Manual, ICC risk related rule, process and routines
• Coordinate to deliver training to co-workers, tenants and outsourcing staff, e.g. arrange fire drill for the shopping center regularly. Establish meeting place tailored emergency response plan based on ICC general requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
This position is full time, you will work 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
