Contract : temporary, open ended

Location: Canton of Neuchatel

Please note this position requires French and English fluency

Your responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the effective coordination of the material (components) until his release to production, including the following steps: planning/purchasing, delivering on time the right quantity at the right place, receiving prioritization, quality clearance, in order to continuously supply the production needs without any interruption or shortage.

  • Prepares purchase orders for raw material, components, and related items according to procedures.

  • Takes appropriate action in resolving discrepancies in order quantity, price and seeks corrective action on late deliveries.

  • Responsible for the relationship with the supplier in case of non-conformity related to components including: RTV, Credit Note request.

  • If needed, ability to plan a manufacturing line linked or not to the material purchased.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent. 

  • Data reporting skills through MS-Excel (or equivalent).

  • 2 years of relevant experience

  • Fluent in French and English

  • Desirable: Green Belt six-sigma or lean certification. APICS certification.

  • Strong organization skills and an aptitude for planning. Accuracy with attention to detail.

  • Proactive approach.

  • Able to work with limited supervision. 

  • Proficient user of MS Office, Excel, Word, Powerpoint. 

  • Can drive continuous process improvements. Ability to translate complex situations into simple working solutions.
