Accounting Manager
Summary
The accounting manager will provide general leadership to all areas of the business and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with internal controls, financial reporting, tax filings, and statutory audits. He/She will also be involved in strategic accounting planning activities such as budget preparation, forecasting, and analysis. The accounting manager will manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department and oversee all aspects of the business including payroll processing, accounts receivable management, inventory control, cash flow management, and tax compliance. He/She will ensure that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. He/She will be responsible for managing relationships with external stakeholders (e.g., customers, suppliers) and internal stakeholders (e.g., employees). He/She will work closely with senior management to develop short-term and long-term goals for the organization.
Responsibilities
• Manage all accounting transactions related to the business
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Oversee monthly closing processes
• Review quarterly financial statements
• Analyze financial data and trends
• Provide guidance on financial matters
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement new initiatives
• Monitor performance metrics and make recommendations based on findings
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Ad-hoc Projects
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience
• Minimum 12+ years of experience in accounting & finance and 3+ years in management role
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask effectively
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience working with ERP system, including but not limited to SAP and TW Local designed system
• Familiarity with local regulations regarding taxes, banking, insurance, etc.
• Proficiency in English.
