Digital Solution Test Engineer vacancy for a globally operating Rotkreuz based company in the pharma sector.
Your tasks:
- Supporting IT integration in diverse solution environments, including laboratory instruments and cloud/on-premises configurations
- Designing and executing manual and automated test cases for IT product validations in laboratory settings
- Maintaining and optimizing testing infrastructure, including virtual machines, edge, and cloud configurations
- Performing root cause analysis, document test results, manage issue resolution, and share insights with stakeholders
- Working closely with teams across different system components to ensure seamless integration
- Operating and managing laboratory instruments to support validation activities
Your experience/knowledge:
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like GitLab/GitHub
- Hands-on experience with API development and testing tools such as Postman
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash
- Familiarity with cloud services and container orchestration tools
- Demonstrated domain knowledge in the diagnostics industry
- University degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Language skills: English – fluent, German would be an advantage
