Job Summary:
The company is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products. The Sales Engineer will play a key role in supporting and driving sales by understanding customer needs and delivering effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support:
- Develop and deliver product presentations and demonstrations to customers.
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose solutions.
- Assist in the preparation of sales proposals, tenders, and contracts.
Customer Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Conduct site visits to understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Follow up on sales leads and conduct research to identify potential customers.
Technical Expertise:
- Stay updated on company products and technologies.
- Provide technical training and support to customers and internal sales teams.
- Liaise with product development teams to stay informed about new products and technologies.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
Market Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities.
- Provide feedback to the product development team to influence product enhancements.
- Identify new market opportunities and contribute to the development of marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a technical sales role, preferably in the electronics or technology industry.
- Strong technical understanding of the company’s products and solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Willingness to travel as required.
