Diagnostic Scientist Position 100%
We are looking for a flexible and highly-motivated veterinarian to join our diagnostic team for up to three years with the possibility of renewal. Starting date: First Quarter of 2025 (earliest January 2025).
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Case management incl. sample preparation, performance of tests, reporting of results and communication with clients (in German)
- Antimicrobial resistance monitoring
- Supervision of technical staff
- Contribute to the tutoring of veterinary residents
- Assistance in teaching duties of university students
- Generation of scientific data and publications in peer-reviewed journals
Requirements
- A veterinary and a PhD or doctoral degree
- A minimum of three years' working experience as a veterinarian
- Diplomate of a Veterinary Microbiology College (ACVM or ECVM)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Language requirements: Fluent in German and English and at least basic communication skills in French
- Diagnostic experience in viral diagnostics and avian diseases would be a great asset
