Marketing Manager (m/f), 100%
Our client, a private owned aviation group of companies, is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager and leader (m/f, 100%) at its headquarters in Basel downtown.
Daily tasks & responsibilities include
- Develop and implement comprehensive Marketing strategies to achieve the company's Group business objectives
- Gain and exploit any marketing activities for multiple channels such as direct, online and print
- Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
- Plan, manage and execute with Event Specialist, activities in aviation trade shows, conferences and industry events
- Communicate with PR agents with respect to the Swiss Domain and the International Domains
- Write Editorial articles and support the collection of information to be used in media articles
- Collect and write effectively in Marketing for a host of Marketing literature that is employed in the group (Print brochures, digital PDF’s, Service/product flyers, custom flipbooks, presentations)
- Keep the company webpages up to date and support the publication of the latest news
- Perform and support research and analysis for various projects
- Functional leadership of the marketing team
Requirements profile
- University degree is required, post graduate degree is welcome
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Marketing Manager position
- Experience in managing a team of more than 3 persons for period of more than 2 years
- Aviation experience/knowledge would be an advantage
- Very Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Experience in task management tools and the effective implementation of organizing work for the team (in different work areas)
- WordPress knowledge is a big plus
- Fluent in English and German (spoken and written), French would be an advantage
- Team work skills: methodical, resilient, reliable, assertiveness and professional
- Ability to work accurately and independently
- The ability to converse with colleagues and executive management, confidently
- The ability to listen, learn and apply strategies that can be exploited
- Service orientated, flexible and have a pro-active character
- Attention to detail and an eye for high-quality results
- Availability and flexibility to travel between 15-30 days per year, internationally
- Driving license and own car
