In this role, you will be responsible for the Commercial Policy for the Swiss Business Unit. The commercial policy is a strategy and governance framework that guides and prioritizes our customer trade investments (discounts) with the aim of growing value for CCH and our customers, in line with guidelines and strategies of the Swiss BU and Coca-Cola HBC Group. The scope of the Commercial Policy covers the full Swiss business, including At home (Retail), Out of Home (HoReCa, On the Go, etc), and Direct to Consumer Channels, and both direct and indirect customers.
You will be responsible to coordinate the annual process of developing our investment strategy in collaboration with stakeholders of mid to senior level in Sales, Finance, Marketing and Legal with support from your line managers in ComEx. You will implement processes and tools, as well as track KBIs to ensure successful execution of our strategies related to Trade investments. You will deep-dive into our key customers’ contracts and develop templates for new contracts to ensure that they accurately reflect our investment strategies and Pay for Performance agreements.
You will also be responsible to represent Commercial in Regional & Group level communication on Commercial Policy with key Group stakeholders and run Governance Processes related this.
YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the annual Commercial Policy Review with the objective to continuously improve our investment strategy by Category, Channel, and Customer segment
- Lead the translation of our RGM strategy in trade investment initiatives on Channel and Customer level to best deliver growth and ROI
- Coordinate x-functional Commercial Policy efforts internally, drive alignment, ensure look of success and follow up on initiatives
- Deep-dive into customer contracts to identify improvements areas, sharper counterparts, and review discounts to deliver growth and manage trade investments
- Support the Senior Management in developing and tracking the annual business plans
- Support the implementation and usage of ComPol tools and guidelines, train new and existing users
- Ensure review of local level ComPol KPIs and be SPOC towards some Group Commercial teams
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?
- Several years of work experience required (min. 3 years)
- Min. 5 years in Commercial and/or Finance area with a successful track record
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills based on financial acumen and customer-centric approach
- Ability to drive conclusions and formulate actionable recommendations for implementation of growth strategies
- Ability to collaborate to obtain information and get buy-in from others, to drive project across dept (mainly sales & finance), demonstrate leadership with ability to drive results, challenge status quo
- Ability to build crisp presentations, present convincingly
- Advanced level of MS Excel usage, SAP BW user experience
- Knowledge of Swiss Retail and / or WHS market, FMCG experience preferred
- Key Accounts Management and/or experience in Customer argumentation/ building sell-in rationale would be considered as an advantage
- You are fluent in German and English, French would be a plus
