How you will make an impact
Draw up competitive proposals for system solutions including cost calculation and supplier quotations based on a suitable product mix and taking into account both technical and commercial aspects
Manage the sales support and administrative procedures within the sales process including tender and risk review, strategic definition of the scope of delivery, definition of suitable terms and conditions
Ensure tenders are well documented and presented in a timely manner, provide technical support for Sales Managers during meetings
Oversee the preparation of proposals through internal and external resources, assign and allocate re-sources for technical support and proposal preparation
Support growth opportunities with existing and new customers
Identify potential vendors for requisite equipment and materials, cross-check offers with specifications, and assist supply management in coordinating requests to subcontractors
Your background
Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, ideally with a focus on power engineering
Technical Background in Substation automation, control and protection, ideally in OEM international companies
Minimum of 5+ years of project execution Know How as Lead/System engineer, eventually commissioning (or comparable role) in the field of substation automation, control and protection
At least 2 years experience in Sales, Bid & Proposal or Sales support in the field of substation automation, control and protection
Ability to manage and structure complex tasks while managing ambiguity and interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Ability to lead virtual teams and deliver results in a functional/project organization without direct reports and interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Very good/excellent understanding of substation automation and communication networks and basic know-how about grid automation in general.
Willingness to travel as part of business assignments (up to 10%)
Excellent command of English is mandatory, additional European language skills are a plus
