Who will you be joining?

Are you passionate about data analytics and eager to make a global impact? Our Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) team is on the lookout for a motivated working student to support our quantitative data analytics work streams. This is a unique opportunity to gain insights into our worldwide workforce mix and structure, encompassing over 140,000 employees.

As a part-time working student, you will play a crucial role in our global initiative aimed at long-term resource planning. Working with various Allianz entities worldwide, and diverse business areas, you'll help us achieve our strategic goals and prepare for the future. The SWP approach follows a structured framework to forecast workforce supply, demand, and gaps globally, leading to specific development actions that ensure an appropriate, future-proof workforce mix.

How can you make an impact?

• Data Gathering & Consolidation: Collect and consolidate data from our entities around the globe, making it ready to answer strategic questions
• Data Analysis: Work under the guidance of experienced data analysts to perform quantitative analysis, ensuring the best results
• Skill Development: Develop your data analytics skills through hands-on experience and mentorship

What are you made of?

Minimum Qualifications

• Preferably statistical or numerical study background or major
• High proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint mandatory; PowerBI, Powerquery and experience with AI tools (e.g. AI bots, chat GPT) would be a strong plus
• High affinity and ease in working with (large) data sets
• Experience in project work in a multicultural and complex environment would be helpful
• We can only consider your application if you provide the following documents:

Certificate of enrollment (exception gap year)

Valid Work and residence permit (for non-EU citizens). Please check before applying if you can work with your current VISA

• Previous experience in business related functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital/ Tech etc.) is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Analytical Mindset: Strong quantitative analysis skills and attention to detail
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, PowerBi, PowerQuery, AI tools)
• Effective Communicator: Ability to present findings clearly and concisely
