The Liposome Vaccine Manufacturing Scientist will be responsible for the in-house process development and manufacturing of liposomal vaccines for subsequent use in research and preclinical studies. The candidate will manage the in-house manufacturing facility, supervise the in-house activities and will drive the implementation of innovative technologies aimed at enhancing the SupraAntigen platform. Key responsibilities
- Plan and supervise in-house manufacturing activities (MFG Technicians) to ensure timely delivery in liaison with ADQC team and CMC project management

The Liposome Vaccine Manufacturing Scientist will be responsible for the in-house process development and manufacturing of liposomal vaccines for subsequent use in research and preclinical studies. The candidate will manage the in-house manufacturing facility, supervise the in-house activities and will drive the implementation of innovative technologies aimed at enhancing the SupraAntigen platform. Key responsibilities
- Define systematic and scientifically driven studies aimed at optimizing manufacturing processes and scale-up
- Introduce innovative technologies and approaches for the manufacturing of liposomal vaccines
- Ensure mirroring of manufacturing processes between AC Immune and
- Plan and supervise in-house manufacturing activities (MFG Technicians) to ensure timely delivery in liaison with ADQC team and CMC project management
- Management of data and documentation in the ELN and/or Veeva systems (experimental protocols and reports, batch records, SOP/WI)
- Responsible for preparation of in-house equipment maintenance plans
- Responsible for the yearly budget related to maintenance, CAPEX, materials and consumables of in-house manufacturing facility
- Responsible for the Lab organization and house-keeping
Qualifications:
- PhD in Material Sciences or Life sciences
- Has at least 5 years of experience with nano-formulations (liposomes, drug substance and/or drug product manufacturing)
- Has demonstrated ability to analyze data and generate reports
- Prior process development (DoE, QbD principles, scale-up) experience is a plus Personal features include:
