Temporary R&D Cell Biologist (Cell Line Engineering) 100% (m/f/d)

Our company is looking for a motivated scientist to temporarily join our Services Process Development team for 12 months, starting in November 2024 at the latest.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in advancing our cell line engineering services (CellEDIT), optimizing cell culture conditions, and developing new solutions to improve the efficiency and speed of our processes.

Your Challenge

• Enhance cell culture, singulation, and injection conditions to support our product portfolio
• Develop innovative solutions to streamline and accelerate the cell line engineering process
• Plan and conduct experiments according to our internal cell line management workflow
• Perform experiments meticulously, ensuring high standards of accuracy and reproducibility
• Analyze and interpret experimental results, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for further research
• Generate detailed SOP’s to standardize and streamline cell line engineering processes
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all experiments and procedures.
• Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize disruptions in the workflow
• Present findings and updates to internal stakeholders, clearly communicating the implications and potential applications of the results
• Contribute to the maintenance of a well-organized and efficient lab environment
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices

Your Profile

• PhD or Master’s degree in Cell Biology or a related field
• 2-3 years of practical experience in a cell biology laboratory
• Proven expertise in cell culture with multiple cell lines
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively
• Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented approach
• Experience with iPSC or immune cells is highly desirable
• High proficiency in English (written and spoken)
