Key Responsibilities
Global/Regional 2nd level technical Support for Electron Microscopes for 1st level Field Service Engineers
Hotline Support
Remote controlled diagnostic
On-site Support
Failure analysis of complex problems
Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues related to Electron Microscope systems in the Electronic/Semi-con business
Technical coordination of FSEs in the field
Coordination with factory support, quality, and R&D
Key Requirements
Master’s degree in a relevant scientific or technical field (e.g., Physics, Chemistry,Engineering) is preferred
5 years of hands-on experience working with Electron Microscope systems in a technical support capacity
Knowledge in sample preparation and application preferably
Knowledge in electron optics and vacuum technology preferably
Excellent English skills spoken and written, additional language skill is a plus
Strong intercultural communication skills
Ability to work under pressure
Target-oriented and autonomous method of operation
Excellent analytical way of thinking
Excellent Electronic knowledge
Willingness and capability to travel extensively (approximately 80% of the time) to customer sites worldwide for technical support
