As part of Accounting team, you will be responsible for processing, analyzing and optimizing the financial transactions related to Account Payable (AP) and Account Receivable (AR).
You will take the lead on the AP and AR processes, manage priorities, resolve issues and consolidate feedbacks to report to the accounting manager. Following the implementation of SAP S4 Hana (January 2024), you will drive improvement in collaboration with other departments (Sales, Procurement) to gain efficiency in the operations and increase the quality of financial information (monthly closing), in compliance with regulations and Internal Control requirements.
Your responsibilities :
- Lead a team of 3-4 people
- Manage and oversea daily activities of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Be S4/Hana key user for AR and AP incl. VIM Optical Character Recognition (OCR) tool and Concur (Travel expenses tool)
- Ensure high quality services in compliance with financial regulations
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Identify and implement process improvements and controls related to AP and AR
- Participate in monthly and annual closing process
- Provide analysis and KPI's and support for internal and external audit
Your profile :
- Bachelor Degree in Finance or equivalent
- At least 5 years practical experience in a similar position
- Practical experience with SAP S4/HANA
- Solid knowledge in VAT and end to end processes of Order to Cash (OTC) and Purchase to Pay (P2P)
- Open-minded team player with good interpersonal skills to lead a team
- Analytical mindset, critical thinking and problem solving
- Fluent in English and French, good command in German is a plus
