As a Backend Lead, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading the development of our Edge, IoT, and Integration (ETL) platform. You will lead a team of talented backend developers, guiding them through the design, implementation, and maintenance phases of our product lifecycle. Your expertise in C++, Java, C#, and Edge technologies will be instrumental in shaping the architecture and functionality of our platform.
- Lead a team of backend developers spread across multiple geographies, providing mentorship, guidance, and technical expertise
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Architect, design, and implement scalable and efficient backend solutions using C++, Java, C#, and other relevant technologies
- Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability through code reviews, testing, and optimization techniques
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the development process and productivity of the team
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in backend technologies, incorporating them into our platform where applicable
- Act as a subject matter expert in backend development, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders as needed
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2 years of relevant experience as a team leader
- Proven experience (10+ years) in backend development, with a strong focus on C++, Java, C#, and Edge technologies.
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience, demonstrating the ability to lead and inspire a team towards success.
- Deep understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with Edge computing, IoT frameworks, and Integration (ETL) platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
