About the role

You will be part of the Group Taxes team within the Finance & Corporate division.

What you'll do

Manage tax aspects of the group globally and in collaboration with advisors and local accountants, incl. tax compliance coordination and preparation, with a focus on:
  • VAT/GST
  • Withholding taxes
  • Corporate income taxes
  • Financial transaction taxes and stamp duties
  • Tax audits and tax litigations in Switzerland and abroad

Provide regular support to the Financial Accounting & Reporting department:

  • Facilitate group tax accounting (IFRS and local)
  • Contribute to the elaboration of the group's tax notes
  • Perform tax provision calculations
  • Monitor and coordinate transfer pricing adjustments

Govern operational tax matters such as:

  • FATCA and CRS reporting
  • US 871(m) reporting
  • Yearly tax reporting for Actively Managed Certificates (AMCs) and Tracker Certificates
  • Withholding tax repatriation restrictions
  • Tax related questions further to structured products
  • Preparation of tax ruling requests for new investment structures
  • Take on ad-hoc tasks and run tax related projects across various departments and divisions (e.g. introduction of new accounting or payment systems, openings of new offices, etc.)
  • Manage parts of the advisory and service providers network globally

What you'll need

  • Higher education in business administration, economics or law
  • Good understanding of accounting and reporting systems
  • 3 - 6 years relevant experience, in particular in Swiss tax law
  • Tech-savvy, highly skilled in excel and data analysis
  • Good written and verbal communication in English and German
  • Fast learner with high levels of confidence, professionalism and diplomacy

Nice to have

  • Diploma as Swiss Certified Tax Expert or Swiss Certified Fiduciary Expert is a plus
