For our Headquarter based in Montreux we are currently looking for an :

We are looking for an IT System Administrator at Swiss Education Group who will be responsible for effective provisioning, operation, maintenance and monitoring of servers, storage and related infrastructure. Perform System Administration functions for Windows Servers. Manage Virtual Machines as well as Storage Infrastructure. Administer and maintain the backup system. Manage the Windows workstations deployment and policies.

The System Administrator will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. Provide day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for server/storage/backup/ devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
• Perform server provisioning and deployment as well as upgrade and patching.
• Build and deploy Windows workstation with SSCM.
• Administer Servers backup and mirroring with Veeam Backup & Replication
• Troubleshoots software, hardware, and network issues.
• Ensures high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission critical host computer resources.
• Supports the central IT Team, in executing, testing and rolling-out corporate IT initiatives and solutions.
• Maintain documentation and technical specifications information.

Education and experience:

• Degree in computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of IT related experience.
• Experience with Windows server administration, deployment and patching, Exchange, Office 365, PowerShell
• Working knowledge of VMware ESX.
• Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication.
• Experience in Windows and software deployment with SCCM.
• Scripting experience a plus.
• Experience in an academic Familiarity environment an asset.
