Studio Assistant Manager – NOW (RUN & LIFT) & tone. (Reformer) in Zürich

We are looking for a Studio Assistant Manager who helps our studio in Zürich to become one of the leading studios in Europe. Under one roof we have two training rooms Run & Lift as well as Reformer.

We are one of the fastest growing boutique fitness chains in Europe with two brands NOW & tone (currently four studios and counting). At NOW we do Run & Lift workouts with an immersive light. At our tone. studios we have high-intensity low impact workouts on Reformers.

Responsibilities

• Main responsabilities are running the day-to-day operations of our studio, managing the client journey including sales as well as hiring, training and managing the team
• Represent our two brands NOW & tone. externally and internally and constantly trying to grow our studio and brands
• Be a great leader for our clients, our team, our community and studio
• Be a role model for our brands
• Create an awesome client experience and assure it daily
• Take ownership of the success of the studio (client and team happiness, revenue growth, occupancy, profitability, etc.)
• Take ownership of the client journey (leads, new clients and existing members) including sales (crm, excel, direct communication)
• Support and execution of marketing campaigns to grow our community in the studio and online
• Manage and lead the desk team (incl. hiring and training) as well as the trainer team in particular Head Coaches
• Be responsible for the monthly schedule for the desk and trainer team
• Support in scouting & recruiting new coaches (about one potential candidate/month) and desk team members
• Train and develop desk team members as well as new and existing coaches together with the Head Coach
• Hold catch-up/feedback meetings and trainings for the team
• Make sure the studio is clean and well run
• Make payroll for the team every month
• Be responsible for a good team culture (organize one team event per quarter/half year)
• Take part in regular meetings with Head Coaches as well as our CEOs
• Assist with new studio openings or other management tasks/projects

Characteristics & track record

• Enthusiasm for Run & Lift and Reformer workouts as well as our two brands; NOW and tone.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in leading fitness brand (or similar role in hospitality, sales, etc.), preferably in a leadership role as well as internationally
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or management is a plus, or equivalent experience
• Maintain a working presence in studios during non-traditional hours, including early mornings (ca. 6am onwards), late evenings (ca. until 9pm), weekends (4 weekdays + 1 weekend day) and holidays, covering studio as needed to showcase our high standard and mentor employees as well as other managers
• Ability to train, lead, motivate, and delegate to a team of employees
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and in a time-sensitive environment
• Financial acumen, reporting, excel as well as an entrepreneurial mindset
• Friendly, outgoing personality and can-do, optimistic attitude with good communication skills, excellent at sales
• Full of positive energy and enthusiastic
• Reliable and professional
• Ability to lift 20kg
