We are seeking an experienced and strategic Supply Chain Director to lead and drive the global supply chain strategy for a dynamic and rapidly growing organization. This pivotal role reports directly to the Chief Business Officer and will have a significant impact on the company’s global operations, overseeing the entire supply chain process from raw materials to finished goods, including product launches and packaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Global Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy that supports the company’s business objectives and enhances operational efficiency on a global scale.
- End-to-End Management: Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including sourcing of raw materials, production, inventory management, logistics, and distribution, ensuring seamless coordination across all stages.
- Leadership & Management: Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a high-performance culture that drives continuous improvement and innovation.
- Product Launches: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product launches, managing the supply chain elements to meet market demands.
- Vendor & Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring the highest standards of quality and cost-efficiency.
- M&A Integration: Play a crucial role in integrating recent acquisitions into the global supply chain, leveraging increased reach and a broader product portfolio to maximize opportunities.
- Operational Excellence: Continuously evaluate and optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Extensive experience in a senior supply chain management role, with a proven track record in global supply chain strategy, particularly in the areas of raw materials, finished goods, product launches, and packaging.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading teams across multiple geographies.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into actionable supply chain initiatives.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of supply chain dynamics within the pharmaceutical or related industry is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy.
