Senior Project Manager Cluster Lead DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the DACH education events delivery team. Monitor activities, projects and performance.
  • Provide guidance and support for smooth collaboration and event delivery in the cluster.
  • Implement the education events strategy in the DACH cluster in line with the regional and global education strategy.
  • Monitor and manage education events budget in the respective cluster and adhere to financial targets.
  • Ensure the appropriate implementation of the AO events operating model in the cluster based on the Global Education Process (GEP).
  • Build trusted and long-term relationships and partnerships with AO surgeons and national and regional medical societies and associations.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and regulations at cluster level.
  • Annual budget planning for the all events in the cluster as part of AOs yearly budgeting planning cycle.
  • Close collaboration with AO's industrial partners on event technical support, education grant and voucher purchase.
Job Requirements
  • University master's or bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or similar. 
  • At least 5 years proven experience leading a diverse team of experienced event managers and managing medical Key Opinion Leaders (KOL).
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage, motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Experience in medical events/course organization would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain relations with Health Care Professional at all levels and broader stakeholders.
  • Decision making person with ability to anticipate the potential problem. Define goals according to educational event processes and follow up within the team.
  • Think beyond their tasks to find potential synergies or improvement point within the organization.
  • Customer oriented: Identifies needs of internal and external stakeholders and acts respectively service oriented. Deals promptly with inquires and complaints under examination of key facts and handles non-routine requests. Seeks to build mutual trust and establishes to build stable business relationships. Supports the workflow and independently passes information on, which others need to process their daily operations, in a timely manner.
  • Fluent written and verbal English and German is a must.
