The Senior Manager, Capabilities & Deployment is responsible for the successful deployment and adoption of value-added capabilities/initiatives that expertly delivers the portfolio, in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders.
Both the internal and external environments for clinical trials are evolving and it is critical for our clinical trials to adopt new ways of working to address challenges in the changing environment and ensure continued successful execution and conduct of clinical trials worldwide. Additionally, the changing regulatory and privacy landscape across our global footprint requires constant assessment.
This individual will play a key leadership role in ensuring the Delivery Unit’s ability to nimbly intake, globally translate, and execute trials with novel aspects. In addition, this individual will play a leadership role in harmonization and global standardization within the Delivery Unit’s in partnership with the Business, Growth, Innovation & Advocacy organization to increase productivity and standardization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with Business, Growth, Innovation & Advocacy (BGI&A), other Delivery Units and other functions within and outside of GD to be the bi-directional catalyst for the Delivery Unity to drive and deploy value-added capabilities/initiatives.
- Identify, pilot and communicate Therapeutic Area / Disease Area needs and initiatives to broader DU and BGI&A organizations.
- Understand strategies/initiatives to globally translate to the Delivery Unity enabling readiness and excellence in deployment.
- Ensuring impactful Delivery Unit representation on global capabilities /initiatives.
- Pro-actively communicates with GCO leadership and draws in expertise to advance deployment and adoption.
- Ensure robust change management and communication plan with input from local and global to ensure readiness to adapt to the future requirements.
- Lead & support broader business operations initiatives & responsibilities to improve our Delivery Unit outcomes in terms of process improvements, capability development, and operational effectiveness. Could include, should business needs arise, people mgmt. responsibilities to support end-end operations.
