A leading Biotech dedicated to advancing health and improving lives through innovative solutions are expanding their facilities to enhance their production capabilities and are seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Construction Manager to oversee these critical projects.
Job Description:
The Construction Manager will be responsible for managing and executing construction projects related to the facilities. This includes overseeing all aspects of the construction ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Plan, execute, and finalize construction projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant pharmaceutical industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of construction are met.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective project delivery.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
- Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, including progress, challenges, and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in project management or pharmaceutical construction are preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction management, with at least 3 years in the life sciences industry.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills. Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of life science industry regulations, including GMP standards.
- Language skills: Fluent English and German Speakers only.
