Job Description
During the implementation of our new ERP system, you will play a pivotal role within our Accounts Payable team and overtake various tasks, such as:
- Preparation of weekly payment runs
- Monthly sub-ledger closings incl. accruals and reconciliations
- Involvement in ERP migration project as AP/T&E subject matter expert
- Backup of AP Team Lead
- Follow-up on long outstanding items
- Improvement of existing processes
- Verification and booking of AP invoices and expenses reports
- Ensure compliance with business procedures (e.g. SOX, US-GAAP, etc.)
- Interact directly with employees, affiliate companies and suppliers worldwide
Your profile
- Completed commercial apprenticeship. A further education within the Finance field (e.g.Brevet Fédéral de spécialiste en Finance et Comptabilité, Haute Ecole de Gestion, CPA) is of advantage
- 3-5 years’ working experience, ideally in a similar role
- Very good English skills, both spoken and written. German and/or French skills are a plus.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially in-depth know-how of Excel is required
- Proactive with a continuous improvement mindset
- Flexible, resilient and team-oriented personality
