IT Security & Network Operations Specialist (DLP Focus)

To further strengthen our team, we are looking for you as IT Security & Network Operations Specialist (f/m/d), with a primary focus on Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
You will be at the forefront of safeguarding our organization against potential data breaches, policy violations, and unauthorized data exfiltration attempts. Your expertise encompasses a wide array of security tools and processes, including security incident response, vulnerability management, threat remediation, and security assessments.
This position is based in Zurich. Foreign candidates must be willing to relocate to Switzerland.
- Monitor and manage security incidents with a keen focus on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies, acting as a frontline defense against potential data breaches, policy violations, or unauthorized data exfiltration attempts
- Act as an interface between internal system owners and the external Security Operations Center (SOC), investigating escalations and ensuring timely resolution
- Take a pivotal role in the global vulnerability management solution, specifically addressing vulnerabilities related to data leakage risks
- Investigate reported phishing messages and take appropriate action to mitigate potential threats
- Conduct thorough gap analyses to identify and rectify deficiencies in our security posture, providing actionable recommendations.
- Actively engage in and assist with the management and resolution of all security operations tasks
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (such as CIS, GDPR, DORA) by meticulously documenting and reviewing security policies and procedures
- Serve as a liaison between the CISO office, auditors, and internal teams, ensuring continuous collaboration and implementing governance policies, as well as supporting activities during audit processes
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of processes and procedures, facilitating seamless knowledge transfer across teams
- Support reporting concerning security scores and incidents
- Demonstrate willingness to participate in an on-call service rotation, ensuring continuous coverage and support for security incidents outside regular working hours
- Completed university degree or equivalent education, with a solid background in IT security principles
- Demonstrated experience with DLP solutions, with a focus on detection and mitigation of data loss incidents
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel and Purview
- Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Power BI is desired
- Combine a solution-oriented, enthusiastic team approach with independent, responsible work ethic, you consistently uphold high standards of quality
- Exhibit a passion for continuous learning and skill development, with a quick grasp of emerging technologies and trends in, especially in the area of DLP
- Ability to analyze complex security incidents, providing actionable recommendations for mitigation and prevention
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills are essential, with proficiency in German considered a plus
- Must be located in Switzerland or willing to relocate
