Description

BMS is seeking to recruit a temporary SAP Key user - Procurement expertlocated at the Boudry manufacturing facility based in Switzerland. Reporting to the Associate Director, Site Procurement Lead, the SAP Key user - Procurement expertwill support all Procurement activities (Flows/ Financial transaction / Analysis) related to SAP. This position will maintain strong alignment to the manufacturing network strategy and initiatives, support the business with close partnership with the SAP team, and engage closely with any appropriate sister sites within the GPS network to ensure best value for individual site and network. The SAP Key user - Procurement expertmust display excellent communication skills to all internal stakeholders, senior leadership and suppliers.

The SAP Key user - Procurement expert Boudry will:

• Play the key Procurement role in the testing and roll-out process together with the team.
• Define business requirements for development, based on knowledge of business and process.
• Perform related tasks in a timely manner to ensure to achieve the business goals:

• Be the single point of contact and representative for Procurement in all the SAP project phases when transferring our processes into SAP and ensure compliance with R&R defined within the team.
• Report weekly to the Associate Director Site Procurement Lead about updates, following up actions, next steps etc.
• Analyse the different processes where Procurement is involved, map and assign relevant trainings to those processes for the Procurement team.
• Teach the Procurement team on SAP transactions and reporting deem relevant for the Procurement function.
• Document the new processes together with stakeholders (QA, Supply Chain) in order to have robust SOP /Work instructions where actions are defined, described and roles and responsibilities clearly established.
• Ensure the transfer of these documents into Success Factors for future reference.

Essential experience and behaviours:

• Bachelor's Degree in project Management/Continuous improvement, Procurement/Supply Chain or similar
• Experience in SAP implementation and deployment in Procurement & Supply Planning is mandatory.
• Experience and understanding of SAP ERP.
• Excellent communication skills and be able to communicate to multiple levels within the company and at suppliers.
• Highly experienced in SAP Procurement module. Additional experience in Supply Chain, MRP Planning and Inventory modules strongly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Icertis an asset.
• Prior cGMP experience in biopharmaceuticals, pharmaceuticals, and/or medical device industry is highly preferred. Comparable controlled industries may be acceptable.
• Procurement skills such as developing relationships with suppliers, expediting, prioritizing and negotiating deliveries, analysing and reporting on supplier performance.
• Positive, collaborative approach to problem solving. Demonstrated success working in a team environment.
• Thrives working in a fast-paced environment and proven ability to manage multiple projects/tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated high degree of independence, requiring minimal supervision from senior management.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent analytic, interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills
• Proactive, creative and analytic approach to continuous improvement in delivering procurement services and identifying new opportunities.
