SAP PI & BTP CI Senior Consultant 80-100%

Your new responsibilities

• Collaborate and work closely with SAP PI & BTP consultants and business representatives to architect and develop new process improvement opportunities
• Design, implement and operate integration scenarios based on SAP PI & BTP within our structured SI IT framework
• Enhance and roll out integration scenarios as part of our agile teams, ensuring seamless project execution
• Serve as a technical consultant in integration architecture, providing expert advice and solutions
• Assist solution architects in establishing cloud and hybrid scenarios, driving innovation and efficiency
• Lead the migration of current SAP PI applications to cloud-based SAP BTP CI, ensuring smooth transitions and enhanced performance
• Develop and deliver targeted training content and comprehensive materials to empower our teams.

Your talents and experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong knowledge and experience in developing integration scenarios and managing integration operations
• Proven experience in supporting projects through technical advice and expertise
• Hands-on experience with migrations from SAP PI to BTP CI
• In-depth understanding of SAP BTP Architecture
• Excellent written and spoken English

Desired technical skills:

• SAP Integration: Experience with SAP PI and SAP BTP Integration Suite components, including CI, API-M, and Advanced Event Mesh
• Data Transfer and Communication: Knowledge of ALE/IDoc, BAPI/RFC, Proxy, XML, Web Services, JDBC, ccBPM, REST, File adapter, and custom adapter development
• Secure Data Transfers: Professional skills in secure data transfers (SSL, SSH)
• Development Knowhow: SAP ABAP & JAVA stack basis and development expertise
• Basic knowledge of Unix
