The company has its own IT department working very close with the business in the continuous required digital transformation to excel the services to our clients, target of our activity.

Santanderstart - Internship in Business Applications Management.

We are seeking a motivated technical profile to cover the management of our Business Applications (Support, Maintenance, Evolution). In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our mission-critical applications. You will work closely with users, developers, and other IT teams to diagnose and resolve issues, and ensure that our applications are running smoothly and efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for a range of applications, including incident and problem management, release management, and user support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent solutions or mitigating actions.
  • Work with users to understand their needs and provide effective solutions to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with developers to test new releases and ensure that changes do not affect current functionalities and have collateral effects.
  • Monitor application performance and usage, and proactively identify potential issues before they become problems.
  • Maintain documentation of the application's configurations, functionalities and procedures
  • Proactively look for ways to improve the application's performance, scalability, and reliability, and recommend and implement changes as needed.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Strong technical knowledge of software applications including knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL, and data analysis techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders from various departments and levels of the organization
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience or knowledge of ITIL best practices and incident management processes is a plus
  • Knowledge of financial regulations, such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC), is a plus
  • English is a must, French and Spanish are highly valueted. Any others languages are assets
