Position:

We seek a junior, motivated, dynamic business development associate to join our Client's Financial Intermediaries & Institutional Team in Geneva. You will support the DACH sales team, covering wholesale and institutional clients in Switzerland. The emphasis of your role will be to focus on maximizing sales opportunities through meeting setups, lead generation, and collaboration with the team on sales initiatives, as a support to the business development managers. The post will involve occasional travel to Zurich and London and reports to the Head of Financial Intermediaries for Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work from home two days a week.

Responsibilities:

Target Market:

* Financial Intermediaries: Global Financial Institutions, Private Banks, Independent Wealth Managers

* Institutional Investors: Pension Funds, Family Offices, Insurance Companies

Sales Process:

* Make outbound calls, set up prospect meetings

* Prepare Business Development Managers for meetings

* Handle follow-up tasks and maintain CRM records

* Manage inbound requests and resolve internal issues

* Participate in client events and brand-building activities

* Develop and manage a client portfolio over time

Strategic Market Planning:

* Conduct market research and explore new business opportunities

* Assist in business planning and management reporting

* Engage with industry organizations

Internal Projects:

* Collaborate with Business Development Associates across Geneva, Zurich, London, and Monaco

* Support the broader European Distribution group

Profile:

* Masters or Bachelors Degree

* Around 2-5 years' experience in a similar junior investment advisor or sales associate type function within relevant industry sectors (asset management or banking)

* Good generalist knowledge of asset classes and investment management

* Experience in sales, including cold-calling and relationship building

* Interest in economics and financial markets

* High energy, enthusiastic, professional, and focused

* Strong interpersonal skills, fluency in French and English (both a must), knowledge of German is a plus

* Eligible for a Geneva work visa
