Tasks and job requirements
- Organize and conduct UX studies and methods
- Further develop UX and Human-Centred Design methods and establish them in the research team
- Supporting other researchers in their projects with knowledge and expertise regarding UX, Human-Centred Design and Usability
- Support other researchers in the acquisition and implementation of UX studies and user studies in general
- Develop feedback systems
- Develop UX quality system within the research team
- Anticipate needs and take initiative to solve problems as they arise
- Teaching in different modules of the Major Human-Centred Interaction Design and in the BSc Immersive Technologies
- Develop the curriculum of the Major Human-Centred Interaction Design
- Support for student projects and theses
Your profile
- PhD /or Master in Curriculum UX, or Design and Assessment or related field
- 3+ years of experience in assessment design and validation
- 3+ years of experience in project planning
- Demonstrated research and evaluation design and implementation skills
- Demonstrated data collection skills (e.g. usability testing, interviewing, observation, focus group moderation, and survey administration)
- Demonstrated prototyping skills
- Expertise in formative and summative assessment and feedback research with a track record of scholarly contributions
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to multitask, address issues quickly and efficiently, and work independently
- Ability to do acquisition of new projects and sell UX services within the research group but also to possible customers/project partners
- Professional proficiency in English, German is a plus
