Research Chemist - Research Scientist
Research Chemist - Research Scientist vacancy for our Stein based client in the pharma sector.
Your tasks:
- Following broad frameworks to operate equipment needed to carry out trial work
- Ensuring samples are available and delivered on time
- Resolving routine issues with minimal senior staff or supervisory guidance and approval
- Developing new synthesis routes and processes considering safety, scalability, sustainability and cost-effectiveness
- Planning, undertaking and analyzing organic reactions including TLC, IR, GC, LC, NMR, and MS
Your experience/knowledge:
- Solid skills in theoretical and practical organic chemistry and organic synthesis
- Demonstrated professional experience in a modern chemical laboratory environment
- Proficiency in purification techniques
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Technical chemistry education or a university degree in organic chemistry
- Language skills: English
