Your main challenges
- Coordinate and execute mechanical and electrical workshop operations in our Corporate Accelerator.
- Take responsibility for producing prototypes, custom equipment, and demonstrators close collaboration with our engineering team.
- Ensure the prioritized, timely, and efficient completion of components and assemblies, including make-or-buy decisions and effective coordination of purchasing processes for third-party components.
- Maintain and optimize workshop organization, tools, and setup to ensure necessary availability and capability for project work.
- Organize and execute prototype performance tests.
- Enforce workshop safety measures.
What we look for
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with coordination of mechanical and electrical prototyping workshop activities for building prototypes or other custom equipment.
- Experience with CNC machining, 3D printing, and assembly.
- Experience with parts procurement and suppliers interactions.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety measures and protocols.
- Experience with wiring or a willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with performance testing procedures and equipment is a plus.
- Experience with commissioning is a plus.
- You enjoy building things from scratch.
- You enjoy working on complex and diverse technical challenges.
- You have a hands-on, pragmatic, fast-paced and well organized working style.
- You are flexible and collaborative, adapting quickly to changing demands and embracing a responsive development approach.
- You are excited about working in teams and multidisciplinary environments to achieve greater outcomes.
