Job Responsibilities
- Responsibility for a well coordinated and efficient production in the factory.
- Active planning of the production in the factory, taking into account the various boundary conditions and coordinating the downstream work steps.
- Control of the material stocks in the process (WIP), in the intermediate storage and in the shipping department
- Further development of the existing planning tools with lean approaches
- Coordinate the freight forwarding team in coordination with internal and external customers
- Tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) and development of a modern visualization system
- Developing proposals to further develop the productivity of the operation
- Documenting the processes, working methods and instructions in the responsible area
To apply for this Production Control Manager Job you should have/be:
- Minimum of three years working in a similar capacity
- Possess a strong mix of both Business and Technical understanding
- Proven experience in managing the processes in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in planning a production unit and knowledge of LEAN approaches ensuring maximum productivity and minimum waste
- Skilled in the use of IT and digital tools (SAP, Excel, Power BI, ect)
- Minimum B2 written and spoken German and French, preferably also English
