Product Manager Hearing Aids and Accessories

You are the owner of a product and ensure a reliable and user-friendly product offering. You understand how the product works, communicate the benefits it brings to our customers, and align with other products in the portfolio to build a seamless ecosystem. The responsibility stretches over the full product lifecycle.

Your tasks

  • Drive the definition process for the next generation of products
  • Trigger feasibility studies and technology projects
  • Closely work with peers to create an appealing value proposition and deliver it through their product 
  • Know competitor's products/services and perform or trigger benchmark studies
  • Ensure regulatory compliance of the product, packaging, accompanying documents and all other deliverables needed for a successful market introduction
  • Work closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Demand Planning, Finance, Procurement, Design & UX, following the Sonova process landscape
  • Monitor quality KPI's and drive root cause analyses or improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate with other PM's in a joint launch, aligning with different timelines in hardware and software development for on-time market introduction
  • Give inputs for future platforms and products
  • Lead or support in operational and logistic aspects of the phase-out process

Your profile

  • Technical university degree or comparable
  • 5+ years of experience in product management including hardware and embedded software with a sound technical background
  • Experience in healthcare or medical industry as well as exposure to high-tech products are an asset
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, and address audiences across different levels
  • Ability to work under pressure, high result orientation and expertise in project leadership of multi-disciplinary teams 
  • Outstanding conceptual and analytical thinking as well as open-minded person with can-do approach
  • Excellent English skills, written and spoken; German and/or French is a plus
