Sonova is seeking a Senior Finance Project Manager to support the global procurement initiative aimed at delivering substantial structural indirect spend savings as well as other continuous improvement projects. The Senior Finance Project Manager will be instrumental in analyzing spend data to identify saving opportunities and executing strategies to realize these savings within the business unit. This individual will play a key role in implementing the global procurement strategy within the business unit and lead other business unit specific projects.

Your tasks

Conduct comprehensive spend analysis in collaboration with the Procurement Analytics team and Finance to identify potential savings opportunities within the business unit.

• Develop and execute strategies to realize identified savings, ensuring alignment with global procurement initiatives.
• Lead and manage projects related to contractual payment terms optimization, vendor consolidation, and other strategic areas.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful execution of strategies and initiatives, fostering strong relationships across the organization.
• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of processes, recommending and implementing improvements to drive further efficiencies.
• Perform in-depth analysis to identify and quantify cost-saving opportunities.
• Create financial models to forecast savings, analyze spending patterns, and track the financial impact of procurement initiatives within a financial period.
• Interpret and present complex financial data to provide clear, actionable insights and recommendations.

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis and planning or financial and business controlling
• Experience in project management in large matrix organizations
• Procurement experience in Professional Services, ideally in R&D, or Finance experience supporting Professional Services or R&D
• Proficiency in persuading, convincing, and negotiating with others
• Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, and ability to perform work independently
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
• English fluency, verbal and written
