As the Geospatial Technical Support Engineer in the DR team, you will ensure the high quality and efficacy of solutions developed for Hexagon's Digital Reality platform. Leveraging your technical expertise, you will provide customer success services, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, while also implementing rigorous Quality Assurance protocols. 

Your vital role will be at the intersection of geospatial technical support, customer success, and quality assurance, ensuring the resilience of Hexagon's Digital Reality platform and delivering novel solutions that exceed expectations of users worldwide.

  • Support Coordination: Work closely with support teams to understand user-reported issues and replicate them in a testing environment
  • Internal Documentation: Document test cases, test results, and any defects found during testing
  • Quality Feedback: Provide feedback to development teams based on testing outcomes and user-reported issues
  • Continuous Improvement: Suggest improvements to testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Coordinate Resolutions: Work with various teams to develop and implement solutions to problems
This is you
  • Prominent knowledge of Geospatial Surveying tools and techniques; including real world experience
  • Extensive background in providing Technical Support services
  • History of technical writings skills. Documentation, Tutorials, Blogs etc
  • Ability to read and interpret test cases and find coverage gaps 
  • Troubleshooting complicated real world reality capture cases 
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex software systems and identify potential issues
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to liaise between development, testing, and support teams
  • Problem-Solving: Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving software issues
  • Understanding of software development and testing methodologies
  • ITIL Knowledge: Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices
  • Patient, empathetic, and client-centric, understanding their needs fully and striving to address them
